Conservation is Key

In reading this term, we have been reading books and articles about the environment.

 An interesting article that I read was about Conservation.
Conservation is about looking after our animals and environment.

The new ideas that I now have are...

  • people are cuting off rhino horns for medicine
  • there are hunting bans in places because of the risk of the animals.
  • trips to where there are endangered animals is called ecotourism.
I think that ecotourism is good because it helps the sanctuary that the endangered animals.

    Hallo Jack. I love that you are interested in conservation; it is a very important subject. Do you know that Jene's dad is a vet in South Africa and he is involved in a project where they are cutting off the Rhino's horns so that the poachers will leave them alone. I look forward to reading more of your posts, love Mom
